The Progress Of The Construction Of KRL Stations At JIS Has Been 30 Percent
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency said that the progress of the construction of an electric train station (KRL) in the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) area, North Jakarta has reached 30 percent.
"We are currently preparing a temporary KRL station at JIS. The construction is already 30 percent," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, July 3.
The construction of the station near JIS, hoped Syafrin, could strengthen transportation services for residents who want to go to JIS.
In addition, Syafrin said that the construction of the KRL Station in the JIS area was hampered because it had to wait for the installation of a concrete cover for the support pole (pilecap) for the construction of the Harbour ROad II Toll Road so that the construction of a pedestrian bridge (JPO) to the stadium location could be carried out immediately.
"We are preparing for acceleration, but there are indeed obstacles because there is a construction of the HarbourRoad II Toll Road. Where one of the candidates for this toll road, including one that must be completed, then we can build a pedestrian bridge to the JIS area, especially on the east side," said Syafrin.
After the toll road construction is complete, said Syafrin, his party will only be able to build a JPO that connects to pedestrian areas on the east side of JIS. Meanwhile, the KRL station platform is currently still in the process of being completed.
Based on the calculation of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, the completion of the KRL station project in the JIS area is expected to be completed in April 2024.
