Muamalat And UIN Bengkulu Build Cooperation To Strengthen Sharia Human Resources At Campus
JAKARTA PT Bank Muamalat Tbk. through the Muamalat Institute, it is said that it has reached a work agreement with the State Islamic University (UIN) Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu regarding strengthening Sharia HR.
Muamalat Institute Executive Director Anton Hendrianto said that in dealing with the era of volatility, uncertainty, complementity, and ambiguity (VUCA), human resources must be equipped with hard skills and soft skills in order to be able to compete in the world of industry.
"This collaboration creates a close connection between the business and education sectors," he said in a written statement quoted on Wednesday, June 21.
According to Anton, the synergy that exists will bring benefits in creating collaborative frameworks that utilize expertise and resources from various sectors to increase innovation, economic growth, and human resource development.
"We support strategic initiatives, such as research, business incubation, apprenticeship, competency certification, guest lecturers, and sharia literacy movements that can have a significant impact on supporting Tri Dharma Universities and enriching the Merdeka Campus Learning Independent Program (MBKM)," he said.
On the same occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, UIN Bengkulu Supardi, welcomed the cooperation that was built positively. It is stated that the collaboration of the business world and campus can present curricula relevant to the needs of Islamic banking and other related aspects.
"The knowledge shared together is very important in building students' understanding and for lecturers. For the strong commitment and synergy between the two parties, we hope that this collaboration can continue to develop and provide sustainable benefits," he stressed.

Similarly, Bank Muamalat Manager Bengkulu Branch Rifyal Fajri revealed that he would continue to provide assistance to students who are expected to expand the local and national sharia banking ecosystem.
"Overall, we support synergy with the Bengkulu FAS campus to strengthen relations between the academic world and the sharia banking industry," he said.
At this event, Bank Muamalat also facilitated students to open accounts through Customer on Boarding (CoB) which made account opening very fast and easy.
The opening of this account is the first step for students to directly apply the material that has been conveyed regarding the basic understanding of Islamic banking to be able to use Islamic banking products.
