Affirming That Papua Is Conducive, The Kapolda Has Map Areas Prone To Terror KKB

"It is true that currently the security situation in the jurisdiction of the Papua Police is relatively conducive, including in several police stations in mountainous areas where security disturbances often occur. However, members are asked to remain vigilant and alert," said the Kapolda in Jayapura, Papua, Wednesday, June 21, confiscated by Antara.

He admitted that there were several police stations in the mountainous area that had previously experienced security disturbances that caused casualties.

The vulnerable areas include Nduga, Yahukimo, and the Bintang Mountains in Papua Mountains Province. Meanwhile, Central Papua includes Puncak and Intan Jaya Regencies.

For several areas where security disturbances had occurred, such as in Yahukimo and the Bintang Mountains, the Kapolda said it had ordered its staff to continue to investigate. He said there were several video recordings when the incident occurred circulating in the community and the video could be preliminary data to be followed up. "I have asked the police chief to arrest all the perpetrators in the video that were shared everywhere and will be assisted by the Cartenz Peace Task Force," said the Kapolda.
