The Dream To Return To The Santiago Bernabeu Is Realized, This Is The Promise Of New Real Madrid Recruitment
JAKARTA - Real Madrid continues to work together in getting new players to navigate the 2023/2024 season. After withdrawing Brahim Diaz from his loan at AC Milan, Los Blancis then signed Fran Garcia from Rayo Vallecano.
This isn't the first time Fran Garcia has been in Real Madrid. He has been a Real Madrid original academy product since 2013.
The 23-year-old footballer joined the age group El Real U15 (2013-2014), U16 (2014-2015), U17 (2015-2016), U19 (2016-2018), and Castilla (2018-2020).
"Dreams to be able to return to Madrid. I am a very honest person. I have devoted my soul and body to doing my best on the field so that I can be here today," he said on the club's official website, as reported by Antara.
"Madrid gave me the opportunity to come back and I thank the president for allowing me to finish the season there," he continued.
Garcia added to the number of players who could play in Madrid's left-back position which was previously filled by Ferland Mendy, David Alaba, Eduardo Camavinga, and Nacho Fernandez.
Seeing that the map of competition to become a starter is very tight, Garcia doesn't really think about it because the target is to develop with the team. He also wants to contribute to presenting trophies for Los Blancos.
"I'm not here to compete with any team-mates. I'm here to add, continue to grow, and keep taking steps forward. I'm here to give everything I have for the team and bring trophies and joy," Garcia said.

Garcia himself spent seven years at Madrid's academy. Garcia's career then continued to strengthen Rayo Vallecano in 2020/2021.
In his first season playing for the club based at the Estadio de Vallecas, Garcia helped Vallecano promote to the highest caste of Spanish football or LaLiga.
His brilliant career with Vallecano continued from season to season. In the 2022/2023 season Garcia performed as many as 40 matches throughout the competition.
He scored two goals and three assists and recorded the most minutes from the club player nicknamed Los Franjirrojos, which was 3,408 minutes.
Appearing impressively with Vallecano for three seasons, Garcia expressed his gratitude to the club, which is now being trained by Andani Iraola for helping him develop rapidly as a footballer.
"It feels like I've been in the military at Rayo for three years. I've grown a lot as a person and as a player for three years there and I'm grateful for that," Garcia said.
"I thank Rayo because they gave me my first chance at the professional level and thanks to them I am here. This helps me to develop as a person and as a player," he added.
