This Electric Bike Manufacturer Presents Cargo Electric Bikes Loaded With Four Children

JAKARTA - The trend of cargo electric bicycles is hitting Europe. This type of bicycle is not only capable of carrying a lot of goods but can also carry passengers.

Winora, one of the manufacturers of electric vehicles from Germany, released a bicycle that can accommodate many passengers for daily activities, namely the New FUB.

FUB stands for Family Utility Bike, which is also a finding made by Winora. The manufacturer provides two versions, namely FUB 2W and FUB 3W with steel topads in its frame.FUB 2W

Reporting from the Inside EV page, Monday, May 29, the two e-bikes are equipped with a powered Bosch Cargo Line electric motorcycle paired with a Bosch PowerPack 500.

Interestingly, the electric bike is also equipped with a hub-gear transmission from Shimano. The gear can be chosen through a rotating handle, allowing the owner to pedal smoothly next to the Bosch powertrain.

The E-bike also has hydraulic brakes on both models. In FUB 2W, braking comes from Magura. Meanwhile, FUB 3W is equipped with hydro disk brakes from Zoom.

Another difference in these two electric bikes lies in the cargo cargo. FUB 2W can carry up to two children plus groceries. While FUB 3W, has a wider cargo space. This type can load four children, as well as a built-in baggage rack on the back. In fact, this total type of electric bicycle can accommodate up to 250 kg.

However, the price of these two cargo electric bicycles is not cheap, starting from 5,299 euros or equivalent to Rp. 84 million for FUB 2W. Meanwhile, the FUB 3W variant is sold for 5,699 euros or around Rp. 91.3 million.
