Failed To War Tickets, Iman J-Rocks Asks For Coldplay To Add Concerts To 2 Days

JAKARTA - Coldplay concerts in Jakarta on November 15 have attracted a lot of public attention, including for Indonesian musicians such as Iman Taufik Rachman or better known as Iman J-Rocks.

Claiming to be a Coldplay fan since 2000, Iman participated in Coldplay ticket war on May 17 and 19.

"I've participated in the war twice. First on the 17th, I've been getting ready from the previous few hours, I've been ready for a laptop and a cellphone. Then it's also been differentiated, laptops use wifi and cellphones are used from providers," said Iman J-Rocks when contacted by VOI on Sunday, May 21.

With careful preparation, the J-Rocks vocalist followed all the instructions contained on the website. Even though he had tried to enter the website at 10.00 WIB, Iman had to be willing when he got a very far queue number.

"Waiting for the queue, come in, I entered the 197 thousandth queue. After waiting, until 2 o'clock or 3 o'clock in the afternoon I couldn't get it," he said.

Learning from his experience on the first day, the 41-year-old musician made more thorough preparations for Coldplay's war ticket on May 19. However, what he experienced that day was even worse.

"Finally on the 19th which is public sale, it's the same, I'm already standing by on my laptop. On the D day, as usual, at 10 o'clock when the website appears, I immediately click the public sale link. Then I entered the queue and click, I was loading there," said Iman.

"It's not like yesterday who got the queue, just keep loading there. Until I waited, the prayer cut was last Friday, after Friday prayers I saw the laptop was still loading until the afternoon. And it turned out that I saw the promoter's Instagram, the ticket was sold out. Wow, well, that's it then," he continued.

Not wanting to be silent, Iman took the initiative to ask Coldplay directly through his social media. He hopes that there will be a concert on the 2nd day in Indonesia.

"Well, from there I finally tried to mention to Coldplay, yes, it's also called a business. I went to Coldplay to 'try to make 2 concert days'," he said.

Not without reason, Iman sees that it is possible that Coldplay can appear twice in Indonesia. Reflecting on the Coldplay concert case in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, there is still a possibility that Chris Martin will appear to entertain the Indonesian people directly.

"It's been 2 days in Taiwan, maybe in Indonesia it can also be 2 days, why not. After all, they are lucky too, Coldplay must be profitable, the audience is also lucky because they can watch it. After all, the stage is also standing," said Iman.

"They are if I'm not mistaken, there is still a time lag for going to the next country. So you can still really do it. Yes, if you say how much is possible, we will pray that it will be possible," he continued.

Faith as a guitarist also has his own story with the band from England. As a fan of British rock and britpop music, he admired lick which is often played by Jonny Buckland. He saw that Coldplay guitarist was able to present simple but captivating things.

Likes the typical sound of the British band, Iman calls Adventure of A Lifetime from the album A Head Full of Dreams as one of the best songs Coldplay has ever performed.

"If there are many songs that are good, especially the new ones, the Adventure of A Lifetime is really cool. There are many cool songs with ambience. And I also like the sound sound sound of the British band," said Iman J-Rocks.

"I had time to play Coldplay when I was playing games. I also played solo projects at that time," he concluded.
