Competing With Toyota Raize, HPM Presents WR-V Manual Transmission To Indonesia

JAKARTA - Recently, PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM), released the WR-V manual transmission variant for the Indonesian market as well as added the WR-V model variant after Honda released the CVT transmission variant last November.

Prior to its introduction in Indonesia, Honda WR-V had gone through a series of researches on consumers and underwent tests on various road conditions in Indonesia. Based on the results of the study, Honda then designed a car that answers consumer needs in Indonesia, especially in the youth segment and young families who want a compact and suitable SUV for urban and sub-urban, to have a stylish and sporty design, a sophisticated performance and features.

"By maintaining various advantages from Honda WR-V, we believe this variant will provide more choices with greater value for consumers," said PT HPM Sales Marketing & Business Innovation, Yusak Billy in his statement.

PT Honda Prospect Motor presents Honda WR-V to complete the Honda SUV lineup in Indonesia. On the outside, WR-V has a compact, but slightly stiff look which is certainly very suitable for urban areas.

This small SUV has lighting sectors in the form of halo lights, LED Frog Light, and LED Bars on the back of the car.

Other technologies embedded in Honda WR-V include a 7-inch touchscreen display audio, AM/FM Radio, Bluetooth, Hands-Free Telephone, USB, Smartphone Connection, and 4 speakers.

At the bottom of the engine hood, the rival of Toyota Raize has a 1.5 liter i-VTEC DOHC engine that has up to 119 dk of power and a 145 Nm torque which of course is paired with a six-acceleration transmission performance.

The manual version of WR-V is available in Crystal Black Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, and Taffeta White Honda, which costs IDR 269.4 million on Jakarta.

This price is slightly more expensive than the Toyota Raize 1.2 liter M/T which costs IDR 235 million. However, it has less runways with 87 dk.
