Sangar! Max And Igor Cavalera Release New Version Of Morbid Visions

JAKARTA - Last month, Nuclear Blast announced the signing of Cavalera, a project featuring founding members Sepultura, Max Cavalera (guitar, vocals) and Igor "Iggor" Cavalera (drums).

The first release under the agreement was Sepultura's first EP (mini album) re-record; Bestial Devastation (originally released in 1985) and the debut of the full album Morbid Visions (1986), due on July 14.

"When we get more and more difficult from year to year, sometimes you have to go back to where it all started! We re-record Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions with an amazing current grid of sound, but with its raw voice and eternal spirit," Max commented. from Blabbermouth.

"The work of art (with the album) reflects the times we live today..... Apolyptic! We also have two new songs with riffs from that time, remember with heart."

Meanwhile, Igor stated that he always felt that the recordings of their previous works did not match the way they performed the songs.

"So, this is a very special moment in our lives so we are so proud to show you our true fans. The representation of the incredible recording of Bestial Devastation and Morbid Visions with a crazy visual identity... Enjoy and see all of you in the pits," explained Igor.

Morbid Visions and Bestial Devastation are re-recorded on The Platinum Underground. The albums were produced by Max Cavalera and Igor Cavalera, while Johnquilino handled the engineer.

Arthur Rizk is responsible for mixing and mastering the two albums. As for the artwork, Cavalera handed it over to Eliran Kantor.
