Ari Lasso Working On The Excise Project Of The Best Songs Of Indonesia Era '70-'90s

JAKARTA - Soloist Ari Lasso does not want to stop working in the Indonesian entertainment industry at the age of three decades or thirty years.

In addition to preparing to hold "Concern 3 Decades of Love Trip Ari Lasso" in four cities of Indonesia, Aru Lasso also intends to work on a mega album project featuring a number of Indonesia's best songs from the '70s to' 90s.

"I try not to stop working, although frankly I don't want to compete with young musicians who easily maybe in one day can have one or two million views," said Ari Lasso during a media conference session in Jakarta, Monday (8/5), quoted by Antara.

The music project, said Ari Lasso, received inspiration from British singer Rod Stewart who released five series of "The Great American Songbook" albums starting in October 2022.

Lasso said the album, which is planned to be titled Sang Biduntersitu, will present songs that are made as original, aka there are no changes, either in terms of notation or song arrangements.

The album, which involves the figure of Ahmad Dhani behind the recording kitchen, is planned to be limitedly released in the form of a disk, CD, and booklet.

"The album contains Indonesian songs that I think are best and have to be re-documented. I didn't change a single tone of the original song because I fully appreciate the songs. Later Dhani will make the music exactly," he added.

Later, the musical project mega arrangement that will be worked on next year, said Ari Lasso, will also be strengthened by one of the British Royal Philharmonic Orchestra or Prague.
