Social Minister Guarantees Recovery Process For Rudapaksa Victims In Bengkulu

BENGKULU - Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini ensured that the recovery process for children who were victims of forced violence in North Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu Province could run well.

"I came here, I want to finish because this settlement must take a long time, because of that I convince parents and children for the rehabilitation process to run well," said Minister Tri Rismaharini, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 9. The Ministry of Social Affairs prepares trauma recovery programs for these children, both in the form of supporting infrastructure, as well as psychological assistance programs. The Ministry of Social Affairs, according to Risma, cooperates with local governments and communication forums of local regional leaders to assist the recovery program of these students. "We help sports equipment, cooperate with the Police Chief, Dandim will create competition between them so that they will immediately recover, trauma healing," said Risma. Improperous actions are carried out by unscrupulous teachers (KM) in elementary schools in North Bengkulu. The victim is temporarily as many as 30 children and is suspected to be growing. Psychologically, according to the Head of Sentra Darma Guna Bengkulu under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Affairs Syam Wuryani, the victim feels sad, embarrassed, angry and disappointed towards the perpetrators. Some victims and the victim's parents are anxious if this case is known to the public.

"From the psychological examination, there were several victims who experienced sleep disorders, there were emotional changes after the harassment incident," said Syam Wuryani.
