Finding Human Skull In Sack, Garut Police Investigate Alleged Murder
Garut Police are investigating the alleged murder in the case of the discovery of a human skull wrapped in sacks in the village of Awisuti residents, Sukamulya Village, Talegong District, Garut Regency, West Java.
"Our steps are under investigation. A team from the Garut Police has also gone down to the location," said Talegong Police Chief Ipda Andri Rismayadi when contacted by reporters in Garut, Friday, May 5, confiscated by Antara.
He said the police received reports from residents who found a human skull in the Awisuti Village area, Sukamulya Village, Talegong District, Thursday, May 4 evening.
The police immediately processed the crime scene and questioned the witnesses of the residents who first found a human skull, then were then taken to the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Dr. Slamet Garut for an autopsy.
"Tim dari Polsek, bersama Puskesmas Talegong langsung mendatangi TKP, melakukan olah TKP dan mengevakuasinya," kata Andri.
He conveyed the results of the provisional information that the human skull was found by residents who were fixing the flow of water in the Talegong area.
Residents, he said, were suspicious of the foul smell, then the source of the smell was searched for until a human skull was finally found in a sack.
"There are people working together, kissing a pungent smell, after being traced, it turns out that there is a human skull and a sack," he said.

Residents then reported the findings to the village office, then to the police, then the skull was evacuated to Dr. Slamet Hospital Garut.
Deputy Director of RSUD Dr. Slamet Garut Muhammad Willy Indrawilis confirmed that he had received a body that had become a skull for an autopsy.
The hospital team, he said, would conduct an examination related to their gender, age, cause of death and time of death.
He said that at this time he could not explain in more detail the condition of the body because it was still in the examination stage by a forensic doctor.
"You have to go through an autopsy process by a forensic doctor first, after an autopsy is carried out, you can find out," he said.
