JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that some areas of Jakarta will experience rain during the day and night.

In addition, the BMKG also issued an early warning about the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds on Wednesday.

"Be aware of the rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds of short duration in parts of South Jakarta in the early hours of the morning," said the warning quoted by ANTARA from the official website bmkg.go.id, Wednesday, May 3.

The complete details of Jakarta's weather today are that on Wednesday morning all areas of Jakarta to the Thousand Islands are predicted to be shrouded in clear cloudy skies.

Then, during the day, light rain is expected to flush the areas of Central Jakarta and North Jakarta. Meanwhile, other areas of Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are predicted to be shrouded in cloudy skies.

Entering the evening, light rain is expected to fall in West Jakarta, South Jakarta and East Jakarta, while other areas of Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are predicted to be shrouded in cloudy skies.

The air temperature in Jakarta and the Thousand Islands throughout Wednesday was in the normal range at temperatures between 24 to 30 degrees Celsius.

The humidity between Jakarta and the Thousand Islands is also in the normal range between 75 to 95 percent.
