This Chinese Electric SUV Has A Suzuki Jimny-like Design

JAKARTA - The joint automotive company GM, SAIC Motor, and Wuling, Baojun recently released the latest SUV, Baojun Yep, which is ready to be marketed.

This unique thing in this crossover has a design that is very similar to Suzuki Jimny but powered by electric motors.

Reporting from Carnewschina, Wednesday, April 26, Baojun Yep has a small dimension for SUV size, namely 3,381 mm long, 1,685 mm wide, 1,721 mm high, and 2,110 mm wheelbase.

Of course, the size of this new car is smaller than the Suzuki Jimny which has a length of 3,625 mm, a width of 1,625 mm, a height of 1,720 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,250 mm.

Although similar, there is a difference in Baojun pasty with Suzuki Jimny. Especially in the front light that uses four lights on both sides. This is clearly different from Jimny's adoption of a round LED light.

Another interesting part of Baojun Yep comes with a digital screen on the back and a changeable strap according to the wishes of the vehicle owner.

In the internal section, the Chinese manufacturer includes a 50 kW electric motor equivalent to 67 dk and a 140 Nm peak torque that can make the SUV go up to 100 km/hour.

Baojun charges the price of the electric SUV for 100,000 yuan or around Rp. 212.1 million.

However, the manufacturer has not provided details regarding the battery capacity, the total distance in one charge is also the interior display.
