Fourtwnty Releases Video Of Larasuka's Larepan Drummer's Frequent Video

JAKARTA - Video clip Larasuka from Fourtwnty is available on the Fourtwnty Music YouTube channel starting today, Thursday, April 20, 2023. This video is directed by Edi Khemod, the drummer of Seringai.

Larasuka is lined up to be a focus track of Fourtwnty's latest album titled Nalar which will be released in the near future. Nalar is seen as an achievement of Fourtwnty's music both in terms of musical ideas and aesthetics. This album is a follow-up to Lelaku (2015) and Ego & Brain Function (2018).

The lyrics are written by Ari Lesmana, the arrangement is done with Nuwi, Ari, and also Andi Armand as producer. This song tells the phenomena of life that are close to everyday stories, there is sadness hidden behind a smile of happiness.

The theme of this song is illustrated by the visuals shown in the music video produced by Cerahati. Carefully, Edy Khemod as a director is able to dissect the inspiration born in Larasuka, he feels that this inspiration is a challenge for him to put it in visual form.

"In terms of the actual concept, once we read the lyrics, we found the symbolization equation with one social phenomenon that we have in our hands, namely the busker wearing the doll. In the lyrics read my outside, cry inside, no one knows, only me', we find symbolic similarities," said Khemod in an official statement given by the editorial desk.

A special costume was prepared for Ari Lesmana to wear who was appointed as the main character of Larasuka's music video. Ari went around being aower and ended up in an empty bus, a place where he sat thinking and crying in the day.

Appointed by Ari as the main character as well as his first experience as a talent video clip of Fourtwnty. This request came from Edy Khemod who was interested in exploring Ari as the songwriter for Larasuka to be able to'replay' in the symbols of movement and body expression which succeeded in perfecting this video clip.
