Yana Mulyana Gets OTT KPK, Plh Walkot Bandung Asks OPD To Stay Professional In Public Service

Bandung Mayor (Walkot) Ema Sumarna asked the Bandung City Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) to continue working professionally following the inactive Bandung Walkot Yana Mulyana being caught OTT KPK.

Ema said that if the OPD loses motivation (demotive) due to Yana's arrest, public services to residents will be disrupted.

"We have gathered Saturday and the meeting is long, what the Governor said is the same as what is in our minds that this should not be demotructed, there should not be a decrease in service quality, and even if there must be evidence of any incident, public services should not be disrupted," said Ema at Bandung City Hall, West Java, Monday 17 April, confiscated by Antara.

So far, according to Ema, OPD in the city of Bandung has maintained its enthusiasm, including the Department of Transportation, which according to him is still running to provide services to the community despite being shaken because several of its officials were also arrested by the KPK.

"For example, there was a KIR test service, the service was running. But specifically for the Transportation Agency, I emphasize that Eid al-Fitr, who will soon arrive, will remain focused on helping serve the community," he said.

It is known that the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, was caught OTT by the KPK on Friday, April 14 evening.

The KPK said the OTT was in the context of taking action against the alleged corruption case of bribery in the procurement of CCTV and internet network provider services.

During the operation, the KPK also arrested several other people separately, then officers took them to Jakarta to undergo further examination.

The KPK has named Bandung Mayor Yana Mulyana as a suspect in the alleged corruption case of bribery and receiving gratuities for the procurement of CCTV and internet service providers for the "Bandung Smart City" project for the 2022-2023 fiscal year.

"The KPK has named six suspects," said KPK Deputy Chair Nurul Ghufron at the KPK's Red and White Building, South Jakarta, Sunday, April 16 in the morning.

Besides Yana Mulyana, five other suspects are the Head of the Bandung City Government Transportation Service (Pemkot) Dadang Darmawan, Secretary of the Bandung City Government Transportation Service Khairul Rijal, Director of PT Sarana Mitra Adiguna (SMA) Benny, Manager of PT SMA Andreas Guntoro, and CEO of PT Citra Jelajah Informatika (CIFO) Sony Setiadi.

For the purposes of the investigation, the suspects will be detained for the next 20 days. "We need to make detentions starting from April 15, 2023 to May 4, 2023 at the KPK detention center at the Red and White Building," said Gufron.
