Kapendam Cenderawasih: The Number Of TNI-Polri Victims Of The KKB Attack At The Nduga Mudi-Mam Has Not Been Confirmed

Kapendam XVII Cenderawasih Col. Kav Herman Taryaman said it was not yet known how many soldiers were victims of the KKB attack in Mugi-Mam, Nduga Regency, Papua Mountains.

It is true that there was an attack by the KKB on the Battalion R 321/GT Task Force in Mugi-Mam, Saturday, April 15 at around 16.30 WIT.

"It is not yet known exactly how many victims were TNI soldiers who died and were injured," said Col. Kav Herman Taryaman in Jayapura, Papua, Sunday, April 16, as reported by Antara.

Admittedly, currently monitoring is still being carried out, but due to rainy and foggy weather, it has not been able to communicate with the security forces at that location.

"Currently, various efforts are being made to provide assistance and evacuation as well as search for Susi Air pilots and hope that all safety, protection and strength will be provided," said Kapendam XVII.

Previously, Saturday, April 15 evening, it was revealed that the attack on the joint team of the Battalion R 321/GT Task Force with other units caused six soldiers to be reported killed and 30 others whose fate is not yet known. So far, there is no chronology regarding the incident. The Susi Air plot has been held hostage by the KKB led by Egianus Kogoya since last February 7 shortly after landing his plane at Paro airport, Nduga Regency.
