JAKARTA - Perang antara Palestina dan Israel belakangan ini kembali memanas dan menjadi perhatian masyarakat dunia internasional.

Adapun, Michael Heart pernah membuat single berjudul We Will Not Go Down pada tahun 2009 lalu. Lagu tersebut menggambarkan kengerian akibat perang yang terjadi di Gaza, Palestina.

Pada lirik lagu tersebut, digambarkan bagaimana warga Palestina di Gaza harus berlindung dari serangan militer Israel. Bangunan seperti masjid, rumah dan sekolah pun harus hancur karena serangan yang datang membabi buta.

Lagu ini juga mengkritik pemimpin-pemimpin dunia yang masih mencari siapa yang salah dan mengakibatkan perang tersebut terus berlangsung. Padahal, orang-orang tidak bersalah dan tidak berdaya harus menjadi korban perang tersebut.

Michael Heart sendiri adalah musisi Amerika Serikat yang lahir di Suriah. Dia memiliki nama lahir Annas Allaf.
