JAKARTA - Seeing the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology today, people around the world, including Indonesia, are now increasingly literate in seeking information about this new technology.

This is evident from the results of Google's 2023 search revealed in Year in Search 2023, where a search on 'what is AI' is the most sought after topic this year.

"The most interesting thing (Year in Search 2023) is that the search for interest in technology is increasing. Well, there are so many people who are looking for artificial intelligence," said Feliciana Wienathan, Communication Manager, Google Indonesia to the media on Monday, December 18.

Not only that, Feli also revealed that it is not only about AI, but the Indonesian people are trying to find out more deeply about the products of AI itself.

"Third, the most interesting thing is not only what the artificial intelligence concept is? But also its derivative, what is Creative AI, what is Bard, and we really see this and we are also shocked ourselves. It turns out that many people are looking for Bard like that in Indonesia," said Feli further.

Tracing about AI itself is the topic most sought after by Indonesians on Google, if you look at the results of Year in Search 2023.

So, Feli was quite surprised where in Indonesia now people are more critical about the use of artificial intelligence technology itself.

"So that's what we see is also one of the different concepts, not only the technology, but also the interesting thing is how to use technology wisely, that's what we are looking for as well, so there is a desire to, what can we say, to get maximum results, but positively," he concluded.
