JAKARTA - Meta continues to develop its artificial intelligence (AI) tools. Now, following in the footsteps of its predecessors, Meta is also launching a dedicated website for its new generative AI experience, called Imagine with Meta.

Almost similar to Bing Image Creator, by accessing the imagine.meta.com site, you can create images according to the description you created yourself.

Imagine with Meta is powered by Meta's Emu image creation model, so the tool creates high-resolution images from text commands.

imagine with Meta's text-to-image capability is currently free to use (at least for now) for users in the US and produces four images per prompt.

"We love hearing people's opinions about how they use imagination, Meta AI's text-to-image creation feature, to create fun and creative content in chat," said the company in its latest announcement, quoted Thursday, December 7.

“Today, we are expanding access to imagine beyond chat, making it available in the United States starting at imagine.meta.com. While our messaging experience is designed for more fun, back-and-forth interactions, now you can also create free images on the web,” added Meta.

Additionally, Meta also promised to start adding watermarks to content produced by Imagine with Meta in the coming weeks to “increase transparency and traceability.”

This invisible watermark will be generated with an AI model and can be detected with an appropriate model, Meta said.
