JAKARTA Microsoft announced that its company has added an energy saving mode in Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26002 to help the battery save power.

This newly added mode will extend battery life and reduce energy usage as the performance of some systems is reduced. This mode can be activated and disabled easily.

To activate this mode, users only need to open Settings, then go to System, select Power, and select Power Saver. In the menu, users can enable or disable their features in various situations.

Interestingly, this new feature can also be used to save electricity. Every time the laptop is charged and the user turns on the mode, the electrical energy the device uses will automatically decrease.

"Although optimized to extend battery life, energy miners will be available when PCs are connected to power sources for those who want to save energy at all times," Microsoft wrote via Windows Blog.

In addition to adding energy saving mode in Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26002, Microsoft is also adding changes and fixes in the Tasks Bar and Baki System to optimize the use of laptops.

Users can improve performance and responsiveness, make it easier to manage VPNs, refresh lists of available wireless networks over new buttons, to notifications for Microsoft accounts.
