JAKARTA - During Nintendo's Indie World Showcase live broadcast today, it was announced that the game Planet of Lana from developer Wishfully will come to the Switch, and will also be launched for the Nintendo hybrid platform around spring 2024.

"We are happy to be able to bring Planet Lana to the Switch and PlayStation in Spring 2024. We want to share our game with as many people as possible, so this is something we really like," said Wishully Studios director Adam Stjrtrnljus quoting Nintendo Everything.

"Thank you to all the fans who have helped Planet Lana successfully on PCs and consoles and thank the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation communities for your patience I promise we will do our best to make it worth the wait," he added.

Planet of Lana tells the story of a young girl and her loyal friend who begins a rescue mission through a colorful world full of cold machines and foreign creatures.

"A planet that used to be an unperturbed place of balance between humans, nature and animals has now become something completely different," the developer wrote in his game caption.

Planet of Lana is an adventure of cinematic puzzles framed by epic sci-fi that spans centuries and galaxies. Planet Lana is currently available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.

Developers emphasize that games are not war games, but these games are stories about planets that live and are beautiful and travel to defend them.
