JAKARTA - Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri announced that they are testing a new feature, which allows users to be able to add song lyrics to Reels.

"Another music-related feature we're testing: we previously mentioned that we were testing the ability to add lyrics to your Reels like you can in Stories," wrote Mosseri on his broadcast channel on Tuesday, August 15.

He also mentioned that this testing has been expanded in more countries. However, there are no details about which countries already have access to this feature.

"We're now bringing that test to more countries, and it's excited to see how people are creating with music on Reels," he added.

As explained, this feature will be similar to how the lyrics look in your stories. So, when you enter a song into Reels, Instagram will automatically display the lyrics of the song.

Based on the shared image it is also visible where you can change the font type of the lyrics. It will really look like in stories.

"If you start seeing this feature, let us know what you think," concludes Mosseri.

On the other hand, Meta is also introducing many new features on Instagram, which will make it easier for users to collaborate on their feeds, stories and reels.
