JAKARTA - Since its official debut in Malaysia last July, electric car manufacturer Tesla has continued to build electric car infrastructure in the neighboring country. Including the latest, the charging network or supercharger which is now present at Freeport AFamosa Outlet in Melaka.

Quoted from the Paultan page, Monday, October 23, to be precise, Tesla's supercharger network is located in the parking area of shopping centers, meaning that the place is strategic enough so that Tesla electric car owners can use it.

In the parking area, there are four V3 units, each offering DC fast charging of up to 250 kW. So, users don't take long to charge the car battery.

It is not yet known how much this Supercharger will cost, but as a reference, tariffs in other locations such as Iskandar Puteri and Pavilion KL are RM1.25 per kWh or around Rp4 thousand.

As seen in other Supercharger locations, including on the Sunway Pyramid, the words 'Only Tesla Charging' clearly display

The presence of this Tesla supercharger is also in line with its cyberjaya headquarters, which also functions as a service center.

The head office itself has eight Supercharger stations and 12 wall connector chargers, although currently it is still limited to internal use.

Tesla has also announced that it will build superchargers in 11 separate locations, such as Penang, Perak, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Land of Nine to Johor.
