The Location Of Shin Tae-yong's Choice For The Indonesian National Team TC In Turkey Is Appreciated By PSSI

PSSI Deputy Zainudin Amali reviewed the Indonesian national team's TC in Turkey (doc. PSSI).

JAKARTA - Shin Tae-yong as the head coach of the Indonesian national team directly chose the location his team used for training camp (TC) in Antalya, Turkey. The coach's decision then received praise from PSSI as a federation.

This was revealed by the Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of PSSI, Zainudin Amali. In his statement, Amali admitted that he deliberately came directly to the training location as requested by the Chairman of PSSI, Erick Thohir.

"One of the reasons I was assigned by PSSI General Chair Erick Thohir to Antalya, Turkey, is to see firsthand the training camp," said Zainudin Amali in a short video quoted on Monday, December 25, 2023.

"Because we don't all know how to train this camp, Mr. Chairman of PSSI Erick Thohir asked me to try to see in person whether this is the right choice or not," he continued.

Since Friday, December 22, 2023, it is known that the Garuda Squad has been in Antalya, Turkey, for the TC in preparation for the 2023 Asian Cup in Qatar on January 12-10 February 2024.

Zainudin Amali himself has joined the Indonesian national team group since leaving the country on Thursday, December 21, 2023. Arriving at the location, Amali admitted that he was impressed by the TC facility in Antalya Turkey.

After I arrived, first I saw I was very impressed. It turns out that this is a place for training camp. In fact, for clubs and national teams other countries. They use this training camp in Antalya," said Zainuddin.

"So, I feel very right about coach Shin Tae-yong's decision to put his training at the Antalya Training Camp," Zainudin added.
