Mikel Arteta Targets Arsenal To Win Against Brighton

Arsenal are aiming for a win against Brighton and Hove Albion (X/@arsenal).

JAKARTA - The record manager of the Premier League team who was fired in the middle of the competition was horrified. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was surprised by the record for the dismissal.

Now, Arteta hopes the team will rise from adversity and aim for victory when they host Brighton.

Even though facing opponents on paper is easy, Arsenal is still vigilant. Brighton often makes it difficult for big teams.

Last season, The Seagulls made Arsenal mourn. Playing in the Emirates, Arsenal even lost 0-3. The defeat made the Gunners fail to win the league title.

"We will do our best against Brighton. We love winning and will do whatever we can to win."

"We showed it against Aston Villa. In my opinion, we are a team that plays better and should win the game," he said.

"Brighton is a team that makes life more difficult. They are a good team," said Arteta again.

Arteta is optimistic about winning with striker Gabriel Martinelli's return. In the match against Villa, he only played 69 minutes before being replaced.

Martinelli even missed Arsenal's 1-1 draw against PSV Eindhoven in the 2023/2024 Champions League. However, he will be fielded against Brighton.

"He is in the best condition. So, he will be played," said Arteta.
