Carlo Ancelotti Praises The Unplaced Veterans Player At Real Madrid

JAKARTA - Real Madrid won over Granada who brought them to the top of the La Liga standings. Madrid's winning goals were produced by Brahim Diaz and Rodrygo. But coach Carlo Anceloti actually praised the veteran players whom he called irreplaceable and had a big influence in the dressing room.

There is Toni Kroos, a veteran midfielder who inspired Madrid's victory. This is evidenced by giving Diaz a classy pass.

The tricky Kroos bait completed by Diaz started Los Blancos' 2-0 win over Granada in a La Liga match at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Sunday, December 3 in the morning WIB.

Unexpected and quality good feedback has been a feature of Kroos for nine years in Madrid since being recruited from Bayern Munich in 2014.

Diaz was dumbfounded and praised his seniors. How not, this 33-year-old midfielder just remained silent while giving the ball which didn't really lead to Diaz.

"The praise deserves to be given to Toni. He can provide feedback and not a single player anticipates it," Diaz said.

While on the pitch, all he did was look for his partner. This is really spectacular. During training we just need to see him. In this game, he made my game better," said the forward who had been loaned to AC Mila for three seasons.

Not only Diaz praised the veteran, Ancelotti did not hesitate to appreciate his mainstay player with Luka Modric. According to him Kroos is a unique player.

"He is a unique figure and has never made the wrong pass. He also always makes the right decisions when passing. He is a middle player who always wants the ball," said Ancelotti.

"His possession was extraordinary. Toni Kroos was irreplaceable, even when he didn't play," he said.

Kroos is indeed a big influential figure in Madrid. Apart from being the most senior, he won many trophies for Madrid and Bayern.

Star players, including Cristian Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Karim Benzema, have already been in and out of Santiao Bernabeu. But Kroos was untouched. He remained in Madrid and never even wanted to be sold.

The player who won five Champions League trophies at two different clubs has actually been targeted by Manchester United.

It's just that Kroos refused. The reason is, he is already in a bigger club and won more trophies than MU.

It could be that he refused because he had failed to go to MU. The reason is, MU almost brought him from Bayern when he was still being handled by David Moyes. Kroos has also signed a pre-contract with MU.

But Moyes was later fired and replaced by Louis van Gaal. The replacement of this coach canceled Kroos' recruitment.

And, it was Madrid who were lucky with the failure of the recruitment. The Spanish giant got Kroos and brought the team to the pinnacle of glory.
