Chery Gives Life Guarantee For The Purchase Of Omoda E5, What Are The Conditions?

The Indonesian Chery Sales officially launched Omoda E5, the first electric car or global launching, which was born in the country, which was priced at IDR 498.8 million.

Interestingly, CSI provides life insurance (lifetime quarantine) Electric Motor/ Power Battery for this one electric car. But not all customers will get that opportunity. So what are the requirements if you want to get it?

According to PT CSI Assistant President Director Zeng Shuo, the lifetime quarantine was given to the first thousand customers. Meanwhile, the Omoda E5 order has touched 500 units.

"So, for the first thousand consumers, there are several benefits that we offer. Starting from discounts (Rp 10 million), motorcycle electric and power battery guarantees for life and additional year insurance," he said, at the launch, in Jakarta, Monday, February 5.

In addition, Chery also provides battery guarantees of up to eight years or 180 thousand kilometers (km), vehicle guarantees for six years or 160 thousand km, and free service fees and spare parts (spareparts) for five years or 75 thousand km.

Of course, the big question regarding sales to the second hand is whether they still get the guarantee. In fact, it turned out to be charred only for the first owner.

"The second owner is still entitled to an eight-year warranty, in my opinion it was quite a long time and quite safe," he added.

Furthermore, specifically for the first thousand buyers, there is a discount price of only IDR 488.8 million. The nominal status is on the Jakarta road and includes tax incentives from the government.

As additional information, the Chery Omoda E5 uses an LFP battery with a capacity of 61.06 kWh which can cover a distance of 430 km (WLTP test). The vehicle has a Max DC charging power feature of 150 kW with fast charging for 28 minutes to charge from 30-80 percent.

Regarding energy, Omoda E5 is claimed to be able to produce 204 dk of power and 340 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, accelerating from zero to 100 km/hour only takes 7.2 seconds.
