JAKARTA - The production house Come and See Pictures released their first film which is a religious horror entitled Saksa Kubur. This film is specifically directed by Joko Anwar and is planned to air on April 11.

Broadly speaking, the film Saksa Grave tells the story of two brothers, Siti (Faradina Mufti) and Adil (Reza Rahadian) who are looking for the most guilty people to find out if there is a grave for them.

Not without reason, this was done by Sita for her pain after her parents who were victims of a suicide bombing in front of her eyes immediately.

In his adventure, Sita and Adil will go through a lot of tensions and tense atmospheres that make him increasingly believe in the existence of a grave.

At the beginning of the film, the audience was pampered with a harmonious family visual which succeeded in making the audience a little forget that this film is a religious horror film. The storyline is detailed and running slowly helps the audience understand the meaning of the story in this film.

Untuk permainan peran para aktor di dalam film ini tentu saja tidak harus ditanyakan lagi. Seperti Faradina Mufti yang secara total menunjukkan kepelahanan, emosi, hingga ambiasa terhadap tujuan hidupnya membuat penonton ikut terbawa dalam perusapan hidupnya yang tidak mudah dan penuh kolaman.

Uniquely, even though they collaborate with well-known actors in this film, there is no visible role that stands out the most from each character. Joko Anwar seems to share on average his players so that everyone can be seen contributing to building stories in this film.

Furthermore, in this film it does not offer jumpscare like a horror film. However, the jumpscare was replaced by background music that played a big role in trying the audience's discomfort when watching this film.

This background song unconsciously shows the changing atmosphere played by the players. So it's no wonder that the audience absorbs the tension in this film through the music background presented.

In some scenes, there are visuals that are quite sadistic, but the sadistic thing given is not to make the audience feel disgust but instead make the audience get stuck and think about the mistakes that have been made.
