Shareefa Danish Faces Terror In Trailer Ahead Of Ajal

JAKARTA - The horror film Ahead of Ajal launched the film's official trailer and poster ahead of its release this month. The film produced by Rapi Films was directed by Hadrah Daeng Ratu, which is increasingly known for its directing works.

Ahead of Ajal tells the story of a mother named Sekar (Shareefa Daanish) who tries to support her three children by opening a food stall. Later, he started to get restless because his merchandise was always stale when he was being served.

Sekar met a shaman named Mak Ambar (Dewi Pakis) to sell his shop. It turned out that Mak Ambar had died and Sekar was dealing with genies demanding Sekar's life.

The trailer for the film Ahead of Ajal, which was released, shows the beginning of Sekar's conflict with his food stall. Sekar was seen meeting Mak Ambar to perform a ritual.

Instead of feeling prosperity, Sekar actually feels more and more difficult because the buyer complains that his food is rotten. On the other hand, supernatural figures are starting to appear in his shop which makes Sekar even more faced with new problems.

His three children: Dani (Daffa Wardhana), Ratna (Caitlin Halderman), and Dodi (Shakeel Fauzi Aisy) tried to help Sekar from the terror they faced but the effort turned out to be threatening the lives of their family.

The film Ahead of Ajal is Hadrah Daeng Ratu's second horror film produced by Rapi Films, after collaborating through the film Sijjin. Ruth Marini and Michael Olindo also starred in this film.

This film tells the story of a woman, a mother who struggles alone to support her family even though in the wrong way and endangers her children. Ahead of Ajal will show another horror from the previous works of Rapi Films," said Sunil G. Samtani as film producer.

The film Ahead of Ajal will hit theaters starting April 30, 2024.
