Back To Being A Soloist, Lucas Ex NCT Expressed Depression After The Gaslighting Case

JAKARTA - Lucas Wong ex NCT and WayV returned to the public with social media and documentaries. SM Entertainment released a documentary series entitled Freeze.

At that time, Lucas Wong was involved in controversy after someone claimed to be Lucas' ex-lover. He called Lucas emotional violence with gaslighting and cheating. Lucas or the agency never talked about the case.

Lucas himself once greeted fans by letter but he did not speak about the case directly. He left NCT and WayV in May 2023.

In the first part released last week, Lucas told what he had been doing during his hiatus from the industry since August 2021. He considered that the incident changed himself and his point of view before mentioning it had an impact on his mental health.

"I lived in my room for six months, I didn't want to do anything," Lucas said.

"My hair is falling out more and more. I don't eat properly because I don't have enough to eat. I had bad thoughts, I felt guilty I wanted to die, because to be honest it was all my fault," he continued.

Lucas Wong did not specifically mention the controversy, he said that if he didn't do that, none of this would have happened. Lucas talks more about his life ambiguously.

"To be honest, I did the things I did in the past because I didn't think well," Lucas said.

"I haven't been able to talk about it properly, at all, but I feel guilty, I do bad things, I feel guilty I let everyone down. Nobody justifies what I do. Now my thoughts change, I realize a lot of bad things about me," he said.

At the same time, SM Entertainment launched social media along with Lucas' latest portrait. This social media signifies Lucas will return as a solo artist but until now the agency has not revealed plans for Lucas.
