According to Marlison, the largest area of money exchange occurred in Java to reach 60 percent. While the smallest is in the Bali and Nusa Tenggara (Nusra) regions.
"At most 60 percent in Java, the others are then divided into the smallest Bali aNusra. It depends on the points of the pockets of the homecoming," he said.
Previously, Marlison said that this year BI's money exchange had provided Rp197.7 trillion. This figure is an increase of 4.65 percent, compared to last year's Rp188.8 trillion.
Marlison detailed that the need for money during the Ramadan and Eid periods, among others, was large denominations (UPB) of Rp172.8 trillion and small denominations (UPK) of Rp24.6 trillion.
