Session Of Election Result Lawsuit, Strict Security In The Constitutional Court

JAKARTA - The inaugural trial for the 2024 general election results (PHPU) was held Wednesday, March 28. Strict security is carried out inside and outside the Constitutional Court (MK).

Spokesperson for the Constitutional Court, Fajar Laksono, said that his party had mapped security points in both the courtroom and the Constitutional Court building.

"For security in the courtroom and around the Constitutional Court, I think it is, the security points are already, including in the courtroom, of course security is closed," said Fajar.

So far, Fajar has ensured that the security implemented is very strict so that it can ensure the smooth running of the trial process.

"Yes, the main thing is that we have prepared security for the smooth running of the trial. I can't detail the security strategy," said Fajar.

A strict security scheme is also implemented outside or the area of the Constitutional Court Building. Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said around 400 police officers were deployed. They will be alerted at a predetermined point.

"We will start alerting 400 personnel tomorrow. At least we will provide security, both in ring one in the Constitutional Court," said Susatyo.

Security is carried out so that all parts of the Constitutional Court building are sterile when the PHPU trial takes place.

Especially, from the public who will voice their opinion regarding the results of the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres)

"The trial must be sterile, as well as in the parking area, including in the area from the Constitutional Court. If there are people who will convey their aspirations regarding the trial process, of course we hope to work together, not do it in front of the Constitutional Court," said Susatyo.
