Cirebon City Police, West Java arrested an honorary teacher with the initials FB (24) for allegedly molesting his 12-year-old student.

Rano stated that this teacher was charged with Article 6 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning the Crime of Sexual Violence, with a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison and a maximum fine of IDR 5 billion.

In addition, he ensured that the victim would receive assistance to restore mental and psychological conditions after the incident.

"We also secured evidence from this case, including the results of the post-mortem of the victim from the hospital to investigate this case thoroughly," he said.
