Vincent Rompies' Son Is Not A Suspect In A Case Of Violence At Binus Serpong High School

TANGSEL A total of 4 Binus Serpong High School students, South Tangerang became suspects in cases of violence or bullying (bully). Meanwhile, 8 other students have the status of children in conflict with the law (ABH). It is known that the son of artist Vincent Rompies was involved in the case. However, of the 4 students named as suspects, there is no name of Vincent Rompies' son, namely LR.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Tangerang Police, AKP Alvino, said the four suspects had the initials E (18), R (18), J (18) and G (19). Meanwhile, 8 other students were categorized as children in conflict with the law, who were suspected of committing acts of violence against minors, or beatings.

"So the total set is 12 people with details: 8 children are in conflict with the law and 4 suspects," Alvino told reporters at the South Tangerang Police, Friday, March 1.

Alvino said that 4 suspects were charged with Article 76C in conjunction with Article 80 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2014 for the second amendment to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection and/or Article 170 of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, 8 ABHs were charged with Article 76C in conjunction with Article 80 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2014 over the second amendment to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection and/or Article 170 of the Criminal Code. However, one of them was subject to an article on sexual violence.

In the case title at the South Tangerang Police, Friday, March 1, it was discovered that Vincent Rompies' son was not a suspect in the case. But as a witness with the status of a child in conflict with the law (ABH).

The case of violence at the Binus Serpong High School in South Tangerang has undergone a series of legal processes. The PPA Unit of the South Tangerang Police, conducted an investigation since receiving a police report on February 14, 2024.

Then, February 20, 2024, investigators conducted a case title. As a result, it was found that there was a criminal case so that the status of the case was upgraded from investigation to investigation.

The victim in this case is ASS (17), a Binus Serpong High School student in South Tangerang who suffered several injuries to his body due to being abused by seniors at the school.
