Ganjar's Response To The Proposal Of The 2024 Presidential Election Questionnaire Rights, Golkar: Evidence Of Cheating What?

JAKARTA - The Golkar Party responded to the proposal for the right of inquiry for alleged fraud in the 2024 presidential election in the DPR which was echoed by Presidential Candidate number 3, Ganjar Pranowo. The party chaired by Airlangga Hartarto questioned the evidence of fraud referred to by the Ganjar camp.

"Prove the fraud first?", said the chairman of the Golkar Party DPP, Ace Hasan Syadzily, to reporters, Wednesday, February 21.

Ace assessed that it was better for parties who participated in the election, including Ganjar, to continue to follow the vote count process which is still ongoing at the KPU. The deputy chairman of Commission VIII of the DPR emphasized that the presidential election process must be completed in accordance with the corridor of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections.

"Right now we are in the process at the KPU. Shouldn't it be resolved through the mechanism regulated in the Election Law?," said Ace.

If after the vote count it is proven that there is a violation, Ace invites Ganjar to report to Bawaslu by bringing evidence of alleged fraud. As stipulated in the law that has been agreed upon by the government, DPR and election organizers.

"There is Bawaslu. Isn't this election organizer also a product from the DPR RI?" asked Ace.

Ace then reminded that election organizers cannot be intervened. Therefore, he stated, the Golkar Party submitted a mechanism in accordance with the Election Law.

"We leave it to the mechanisms that have been regulated in the Election Law. Let election organizers work professionally, don't intervene politically," he concluded.
