JAKARTA - Candidate pairs (paslon) for president and vice president number 3 Ganjar-Mahfud excel in counting the votes for the 2024 Presidential Election in Berlin, Germany, said the Berlin Foreign Election Committee (PPLN).

The candidate number 3: 639 votes; candidate pair number 1: 587 votes; candidate pair number 2: 446 votes; invalid ballots: 27 votes, "said PPLN Berlin to ANTARA, Sunday, concerning four polling stations in Berlin.

PPLN Berlin chairman Roni Susman previously said Indonesian citizens in Berlin held the 2024 General Election through two options, namely the postal method which began on January 10 and the method of voting at the polling station on February 10, 2024.

The results of the vote calculation using the post method showed that candidate pair number 3 got 197 votes, followed by candidate pair number 1 with 117 votes, and candidate pair number 2 with 113 votes. Unauthorized ballots are mentioned as many as 5 votes.

Roni also said that the realization of the number of the Berlin Permanent Voter List (DPT) was 1689 people, 378 people as additional voters (DPTb) and 64 people as special voters (DPK). The total number of voters is 2,131 people.

As of June 2023, the number of voters through TPS at PPLN Berlin was 4,049 people and the number of voters through the post was 496 people.

The 2024 election includes the presidential and vice presidential elections, members of the DPR RI, members of the DPD RI, members of the Provincial DPRD, as well as members of the district/city DPRD with a national voter list (DPT) of 204,807,222 people.

The presidential and vice presidential elections were followed by three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar as number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md with serial number 3.

In accordance with the General Elections Commission (KPU) Regulation Number 3 of 2022, the recapitulation of the 2024 General Election is scheduled to take place from February 15 March 20, 2024.
