SURABAYA - Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini visited victims of forced stepfathers in Surabaya and promised to relocate them to an integrated center owned by the Ministry of Social Affairs in Surakarta to provide comprehensive recovery to victims. The Minister of Social Affairs not only relocated the victims, but also the victim's younger brother and biological mother who would also be brought to Surakarta. The Minister of Social Affairs met directly with the victim and his family at the victim's residence to persuade the three of them to be relocational. Regarding the ongoing legal process, the Minister of Social Affairs asked the family not to worry because the victim could be presented via video conference during the trial. In addition to the victim's interests, the relocation to the Soeharso Integrated Center in Surakarta is also to provide physical therapy to the victim's younger brother who has not been able to run normally at the age of six. In addition, the Ministry of Social Affairs will also provide business capital assistance to the victim's mother to support the economy. Therefore, the Minister of Social Affairs wants the victim's mother to take part in vocational training first. "Later study first, what do you want, whether to cook, sew. Later I will give you capital, complete all equipment," Social Minister Risma told the victim's mother in a release broadcast by the Ministry of Social Affairs in Jakarta, Antara, Sunday, February 11. Head of the Integrated Center Soeharso Kahono Agung said that his party had facilitated tests to determine the mental condition of the victim. Furthermore, the victim will undergo psychological tests and physical tests. "Earlier we took it to a psychiatrist, this afternoon we will take it for physical tests to see HIV and other possible concerns," he said. Agung also explained that his party would facilitate the continuation of victim education. This is because the victim has been dropping out of school so that the Ministry of Social Affairs will try to get this child to return to formal school.

Not only that, the Ministry of Social Affairs had previously provided several assistances in the form of basic needs, additional nutrition and clothing equipment.
