JAKARTA - Yemen's Houthi group said the United States and Britain launched a series of new airstrikes in the northwestern province of Saada.
In a statement, the group said that "American-UK warplanes launched three raids in the eastern city of Saada," according to the Houthi-run Saba news agency. There are no details regarding the incident in question.
Saada is the main stronghold of this group in Yemen and borders Saudi Arabia. The US and Britain have not confirmed the attack, as reported by ANTARA from Anadolu, Tuesday, February 6.
The Houthis have targeted cargo ships in the Red Sea owned or operated by Israeli companies carrying goods to and from Israel as a form of solidarity for Gaza, which has been under intense Israeli attacks since October 7.
