The gray Nissan Grand Livina car caught fire on Jalan Jelambar Utama 4, RT 3/08, Grogol Petamburan District, West Jakarta, Tuesday, February 6, afternoon. Dozens of firefighters who received reports immediately extinguished.

The fire was successfully extinguished after watering by 3 fire engines that were deployed to the location. The fire from the parked car began to be extinguished at 16.20 WIB.

"The object of the burning minibus with the number A 1537 WN. The fire was reported to have occurred at around 16.05 WIB," said Head of West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Syarifudin when confirmed, Tuesday, February 6.

Syarifudin added that the initial blackout operation was carried out starting at 16.12 WIB. Then the officers began localizing the flames on the grand livine car at 16.15 WIB, which was followed by a cooling process.

"The units deployed from the Grogol Petamburan sector were 2 fire engines and 1 unit from the ambassador post. Currently, the fire has been extinguished," he said.

However, Syarifudin did not know for sure the cause of the minibus fire. The car suffered damage to the windshield and rear that broke out in the fire.
