Bandung Police, West Java conducted an investigation regarding the alleged beating of three residents by one of the supporters of a presidential candidate (candidate) in Bandung City on Sunday (21/1). The victim in the viral video admitted to pointing his two finger and mentioning Prabowo to supporters of Ganjar Pranowo who first showed metal greetings.

The Head of the Regol Police, AKP Aji Riznaldi, confirmed that information circulating on social media had been beaten by residents who were crossing Jalan Inggit Garnasih.

"Regarding the video on social media, it happened that it happened in the Regol District, precisely on Jalan Ibu Inggit Ganarsih, Ciateul Village," said Aji as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 23.

"For reports, we have not received it until now, but for our actions we are still investigating the incident," he said.

Aji said that although he had not received the report, his party admitted that they had started collecting evidence such as CCTV footage and others.

"So, if for example there is a report, we are ready. If there is a report, I will follow up later, so the incident really exists, we are waiting for a report related to the alleged crime," he said.
