The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined 2 people from PT Pertamina in the alleged corruption case in the purchase of Liquid Natural Gas or Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) at PT Pertamina.
Both are SVP Gas and Power PT Pertamina Djohardi Angga Kusumah and Analyst Trading/Market Research LNG Trading PT Pertamina Dendy Rumolo.
"Investigating cases of alleged corruption related to the procurement of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) at PT PTMN Pertamina from 2011 to 2021 with the suspect GKK," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri in Jakarta, Thursday, December 28.
In addition to 2 people from PT Pertamina, the KPK also examined one person from the 2015-2018 PPT Energy Trading Trading Manager (ETS), Marcus Daniel Leleury.
The three were questioned at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Thursday, December 28, as witnesses.
It is known that the KPK is investigating allegations of corruption in the procurement of Liquid Natural Gas or LNG by PT Pertamina in 2011-2021 which cost the state Rp 2.1 trillion.
In this case, the KPK has named the state-owned company, the former president director of PT Pertamina Galaila Karen Kardinah alias Karen Agustiawan, as a suspect.
Karen, who served as President Director of Pertamina for the 2009-2014 period, issued a policy to cooperate with several LNG supplier producers.
