JAKARTA - At least 110 people have died in Israeli attacks in Jabalya, northern Gaza in the past 24 hours, Gaza's Ministry of Health's director-run militant group Hamas said Monday.

Munir Al-Bursh, who is in a field clinic in Jabalya, said 110 bodies had been buried in an old cemetery in Jabalya until Monday morning, while dozens of people were believed to be still under the rubble.

The old cemetery in Jabalya, which is no longer in use, had to reopen because the body could not be buried in the nearby cemetery of Al-Falluja due to an Israeli attack, Al-Bursh said.

A video recorded by Al-Bursh and sent to CNN shows nine children lying dead on the ground. Four of them were wrapped in white cloth with their names written on the cloth. Al-Bursh said the children came from three families in Jabalya, including his own close relatives.

The Ministry of Health's announcement does not differentiate between civilians and combatants. However, Al-Bursh said the majority of the dead and injured victims were women and children.

Separately, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it could not comment on specific charges of attacks without geographical coordinates, but told CNN they comply with international law.

Instead, they accused Hamas of intentionally and systematically placing military targets among civilians.
