Rights Haven't Been Paid Since 2020, Healthcare Workers At Dr M Haulussy Ambon Hospital Compactly Close Health Services

MALUKU - Health workers (nakes) have closed the health services of Dr M Haulussy Hospital in Ambon, Maluku, as a result of the rights of health workers that have not been paid by the hospital since 2020. "Starting today, we will close hospital services for patients who come, while we will continue to serve patients who are currently undergoing treatment," said one doctor at Dr M Haulussy Ambon Hospital, Isabella Hulisellan in Ambon, Antara, Monday, December 18. The hospital's health services, starting from the Emergency Installation (IGD), were closed. "We do not serve new patients who come to the hospital as a follow-up to the demonstrations we carried out today. We will resume services if our m-banking reads because our rights are paid," he said. Patient services that have undergone treatment, he said, will still be served, such as treatment for expert doctors, pharmaceuticals, laboratories, to dialysis and others. Likewise, special drug services such as HIV/ AIDS patients, tuberculosis are also still being served. "To be honest, our conscience does not want to close this service, but our rights are abandoned by management. We also need money to support our families," he said. Dozens of SUD health workers, Dr. M Haulussy Ambon, held a demonstration demanding the payment of their rights that had not been paid by the hospital since 2020. The service funds that have not been paid to approximately 600 RSUD employees reached Rp26 billion, consisting of BPJS services, medical check-ups, and COVID-19 funds. Various efforts have been fought for, he said, so that the problem of service services is resolved by RSUD management by asking directly to the Director of RSUD M Haulussy either at meetings of the medical committee or asking questions through the WA group of the Medical Committee. In addition, he met with the head of the Maluku Provincial Inspectorate, the Head of the Health Service, members of the DPRD Commission IV, and even to the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Maluku Province.

In a meeting with the Maluku Provincial DPRD on September 1, 2023, he said, the RSUD had been ordered to pay for services on November 15, 2023, but to this day it has not been paid.
