Throughout 2023, 10 Students Have Been Subjected To Sanctions For Revocation Of KJP Plus Due To Participating In Brawls

JAKARTA A total of 10 students were subject to the sanction of revocation of the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus due to being involved in a brawl. The West Jakarta Education Office Sub-dept. revealed that the 10 KJP Plus revocation was carried out throughout 2023.

"Approximately 10 (students)," said Head of the West Jakarta Education Sub-dept. (Sudindik) Juanedi, ANTARA, Monday, December 4.

He continued, the acts of violence committed by the student concerned were mostly brawls. "Most of the brawls," he said.

Junaedi hopes that the revocation of KJP Plus from 10 students during 2023 can be a lesson for other students not to be involved in the same or other acts of violence.

"KJP is revoked for problematic children. That is an important lesson so that it does not happen for other students," he said.

According to Junaedi, the revocation of the KJP Plus also had an impact on other students, namely reducing the number of brawls.

"It has an impact on other schools," said Junaedi.

The West Jakarta Education Office has formed a Team for Combating and Preventing Violence (TPPK) between students to anticipate violence that occurs, especially among students.

Junaedi said that the TPPK that was formed was basically the Anti-Violence Task Force in each school which was later appointed through a letter of assignment to become a TPPK.

"TPPK is generally part of anticipating violence, as an effort by schools to pay attention so that there is no such thing as violence, whether violent in the sense of verbal or non-verbal," said Junaedi.

Junaedi continued, one of the formation of the TPPK was related to the stabbing involving a student of two schools in West Jakarta (Jakbar), namely by two Perti Islamic Vocational School students against a Trikora Vocational High School student.

"Actually, we want the TPPK to form for a long time, only yesterday's moment was not much different from the incident involving the two private vocational schools," said Junaedi.
