BOGOR - A woman named Widi (25) was trapped in a flood with her car while crossing Jalan Kaum Sari, Cibuluh Village, North Bogor District, Bogor City on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

This woman was trapped in the flood with her car allegedly because she took the wrong road, added the Ciparigi River, which was overflowing due to heavy rains that hit.

Head of BPBD Bogor City, Theofilo Patrocinio Freitas said, the incident of a woman trapped in a flood with her car began when the victim was passing from the inside of Kaum Sari Village to the Red Light Talang at around 17:30 WIB.

Kemudian, korban diduga salah mengambil jalan, seharusnya mengambil jalan atas tetapi melintas di jalan bawah, tepatnya di Jalan Kaum Sari Cibuluh.

As a result, the victim and his vehicle with the number F 1640 AP were trapped on Jalan Kaum Sari, which was flooded about 1-1.5 meters.

Then, residents who knew about the incident immediately contacted the Bogor City BPBD call center to ask for help in evacuating victims and cars that were still trapped on Jalan Kaum Sari below.

"After receiving the report, the officers immediately came to the scene. The victim was in the car for about 30 minutes," said Theofilo, Monday, November 27.

He said, the victim had been rescued, while the vehicle was still being evacuated by joint personnel at the scene.

Previously, the Bogor City BPBD recorded 13 disasters due to heavy rains on Sunday, November 27. It was reported that 207 houses were flooded and seven houses were damaged.

The Head of BPBD for Bogor City, Theofilo Patrocinio Freitas, said that the total incidents that were reported by BPBD on Sunday night contained 13 disasters. Nine of them were track floods, and four others were landslides.
