AKP AG Nego 'Restrictions' From Drugs Passing In Bakauheni Lampung

BANDAR LAMPUNG - Former Head of the South Lampung Police Narcotics Unit, AKP Andri Gustami (AG), was revealed to have negotiated with Fredy Pratana's network to ask for a 'tentah' for any narcotics shipments across Bakauheni Port, South Lampung Regency.

This was revealed by prosecutor Eka S at Gustami's inaugural trial at the Tanjungkarang District Court, in Bandar Lampung, Lampung, Monday, October 23.

"That the defendant tried to contact and communicate with witness Muhamma Rivaldo, alias Aldo alias KIF alias Tomy alias Fito alias Fandi alias Faldi alias Roy alias Zulkifli bin Yob Gianto Gozal and someone with the initials BNB with the intention of asking for a 'tah' of Rp. 15 million per kilogram every time there is a shipment of narcotics that crosses Bakauheni Port, South Lampung Regency," Eka said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 23.

At the request, he continued, someone with BNB initials then bid and negotiated the wages or rations requested by the defendant. "Finally, it was agreed that it would be Rp. 8 million per kilogram for every narcotic that crosses Bakauheni Port," he said.

The prosecutor also said that after there was an agreement or a quota of Rp. 8 million, the defendant was directed by BNB to communicate with Muhammad Rivaldo.

"Then Muhammad Rivaldo asked the defendant to wait for further information if there was a shipment of narcotics that would cross Bakauheni Port," he said.

It is known that Gustami has eight times guarded narcotics owned by the Pratama network. Of the eight narcotics escorts, Gustami managed to pass 150 kg of methamphetamine and 2,000 ecstasy pills.

Gustami was charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35/2009 concerning narcotics, or charged with Article 137 letter a in conjunction with Article 136 of Law Number 35/2009 concerning Narcotics in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.
