Tanjungkarang District Court Lampung Sessions 3 Defendants Of Courier 35 Kilograms Of Shabu

The panel of judges at the Tanjungkarang District Court (PN), Bandar Lampung, heard three defendants in a case of sending 35 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and 2.5 kilograms of ecstasy.

The three defendants included Anggi Pratama, Riskamin Ginting, Zainuddin, a resident of Bunga Raya, Medan, North Sumatra.

The three defendants underwent trial with separate files. In this case, the defendants were charged with multiple articles, namely Article 114 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Law No35 of 2009 and Article 112 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Law No35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.

After reading the indictment, the trial continued with the examination of witnesses who were members of the police and the examination of the defendants with a number of witnesses.

Prosecutor Ilsye in his indictment revealed the chronology of the case began when the defendant Anggi was ordered by Fahroni (DPO) to find someone who would deliver tens of kilograms of crystal methamphetamine and ecstasy to the Tangerang area with a salary of Rp. 30 million per pack.

The defendant Anggi agreed then he was ordered to take a Toyota Fortuner car with police number B 1373 UJD whose seat had been modified to store methamphetamine and ecstasy pills.

"The defendant handed over the car to the defendant Zainuddin and said that later someone would contact him to hand over the methamphetamine and ecstasy pills," said Ilsye as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 22.

After the defendant Zainuddin received methamphetamine and ecstasy pills, the prosecutor continued, then the defendant returned home and invited the defendant Riskamin, who was his father-in-law, to take the methamphetamine and ecstasy pills to Tanggerang.

"Defendant Zainuddin promised to pay the defendant Riskamin Rp5 million per pack," he said.

While on the way through the Seaport Interdiction of Bakauheni Port, South Lampung to board the ship, the two defendants were stopped by members of the Lampung Police Narcotics Directorate because there was an inspection of the vehicle and the defendant looked nervous and tried to get out of the car to escape but the defendant was caught.

Both were secured at the vehicle post and during a search 35 large packs of methamphetamine and ecstasy pills were found.

"When the interrogation was carried out, the defendant admitted that he received work from the defendant Anggi to bring and deliver methamphetamine and ecstasy pills out of town, namely Tangerang which had been carried out three times," he said.
