Central Java Governor, Ganjar Pranowo, achieved brilliant achievements by bringing Central Java to the Pioneer Award for Child-Friendly Province (Provila) for the third time in a row. This is an extraordinary achievement for all districts and cities in Central Java who have now received the title of child-friendly.

This award was given by the Ministry of Women and Children Empowerment and was first received by Central Java in 2021. The success of the second time was achieved to coincide with National Children's Day in 2022.

Ganjar Pranowo said that the achievements of Provila three times in a row were the result of Central Java's strong commitment to creating a safe and comfortable atmosphere for children.

"This success is clear evidence of our efforts to always give our best so that the City of Child Friendly can really become a reality," said Ganjar after the 2023 Regency/City Decent Anniversary Night event at the Padma Hotel Semarang, Saturday, July 22 evening.

Ganjar Pranowo also gave his appreciation to all districts and cities who are enthusiastic and fully committed to protecting and fulfilling children's rights.

"We have to show that this child-friendly city is really benefited by the children, so they feel comfortable, safe, and get their full rights," he added.

In addition to districts and cities, the Provila award was also given to the Central Java Regional Police, showing good collaboration in dealing with violations against children.

"We really appreciate the enthusiasm of the local government in an effort to fulfill the fulfillment of special rights and protection for children," he said.
