Jokowi Checks Food Prices At Purwodadi Market Bengkulu

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo and Mrs. Iriana Joko Widodo will carry out a number of agendas on the third day of working visits in Bengkulu Province on Friday, July 21. Starting the activity, President Jokowi will visit Purwodadi Market in North Bengkulu Regency to review the market revitalization plan as well as hand over a number of social assistance to traders. Furthermore, the Head of State will go to Gardu Village, North Bengkulu Regency, to inspect the Kerkap-Tanjung Agung Pali Inpres Road. In the afternoon, President Jokowi will perform Friday prayers at one of the mosques in Bengkulu City. Next, President Jokowi will go to Seluma Regency to conduct a "Joint Movement (Geber) Against Stunting" which will be conducted at Posyandu Sarimulyo. After the entire series of events are over, President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana will head to Fatmawati Soekarno Airport, Bengkulu City, to return to Jakarta using the presidential plane Indonesia-1. President Jokowi and Iriana are known to have arrived in Bengkulu since Wednesday afternoon.

Earlier on Thursday, President Jokowi inaugurated the 16.7 kilometer Bengkulu-Taba Tanjung Toll Road in Bengkulu City with a construction value of Rp4.8 trillion. The Head of State has also reviewed teaching and learning activities at SMK Negeri 1 and 2, seeing stunting reduction activities at the Srikuncoro Health Center, Central Bengkulu Regency, to visiting the Kepahiang Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Kepahiang Regency.
