An Individual Member Of The Extortion Ormas At The Martha Christina Tiahahu Literacy Park Blok M Was Arrested

JAKARTA Rifkyman (44), an unscrupulous member of the mass organization, was arrested by officers at the Kebayoran Baru Police, South Jakarta. Rifky is suspected of making illegal levies (extortion) to a content creator at Martha Christina Tiahahu Literacy Park, Blok M, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

Rifky's action went viral on social media so that many netizens gave negative comments. Responding to this, the police intervened and managed to secure Rifkyman.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kebayoran Baru Police, Kompol Nunu Suparmi, explained that Rifkyman was a resident of Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, he admitted that he was wrong and apologized.

"The person concerned admitted that he was wrong, and apologized. After clarifying to the person concerned regarding the viral news," said Nunu, in his statement, Monday, January 13, 2025.

Rifkyman clarified that Pancasila Youth had nothing to do with licensing to make content at Martha Christina Tiahahu Literacy Park.

"The person concerned clarified that for licensing to make videos or content in the Literacy Park, he must ask permission from the park management, not the Pancasila Youth," said Nunu.

The large number of cases has made the DKI Jakarta Provincial Satpol PP deploy personnel at the Martha C. Tiahahu Literacy Park, Blok M.

"Starting Monday (January 13) we will place members in that location for patrols and supervision," said Head of the DKI Provincial Satpol PP Satriadi Gunawan, on Sunday, January 12.

Satriadi emphasized that there are no written rules that people who want to create content at the location must apply for a permit to certain mass organizations. He said, the permit was only issued by the manager, in this case PT Integration Transit Jakarta (ITJ).

A viral video on social media that saw visitors to Taman Literacy was reprimanded by a man when he was about to create content. The person then asked a group of visitors regarding permission to create content in the Literacy Park.

'Who is this permission? Who is this permission to go to,' said the man.

"Hah? No permission, really there has to be a permit here? Isn't this a public place?" said one of the visitors.

"Yes, if you don't want someone to take care of it in the middle of the road, don't take care of it. If it's like a park, M Bloc (must have a permit)," said the man again.
